The food is slamming. Googled a soul food restaurant. Came across Lillian's. Some reviews said she was nasty in her attitude, but the food was good. Well, the food is more than good. It is da bomb. I had the oxtails and my boyfriend had the baked chicken. Both were delicious. The portions are worth the price you pay. You get more than your money worth. As for any nasty attitude, we were met with a pleasant, hard working business lady. I am glad that i did not that part of the review pursuade me to not give her establishment a try. We ate our food there and had great conversation with Lillian. Thankfully it was not too busy when we got there. We will be back to try her baked macaroni.
Used UberEats to order from this restaurant. Delivery to my house was quick and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed it. I’ll be ordering again soon. Glad I don’t have to go all the way to Newark to get good soul food anymore.
(Yams, Greens, Peach Cobbler, and Bannana Pudding) My meal was absolutely amazing! I arrived 10mins before 1pm to get the church crowd. I haven't tried any desert I've bought just yet. If everything else was good I'm sure it will be to.
The owner and her new employee were good people with good vibes! The inside appearance look clean and well kept. If you don't arrive early, then it's best to call your order in.

Never had a bad experience over the years. It's my favorite Soul Food Restaurant hands down.
Call before you go!!! I went into store she stated she didnt have a menu she usually just tells people when they walk in. She didnt have any fish so i decided to get a “veggie platter” of just sides. Which started out as $10. She said mac n cheese was an extra dollar , and so was the collard greens & yams. Which left only lima beans and string beans not being additional charges. Which i didnt want. I paid $13 for 3 sides. The food was good but wasnt worth the price.
